Ever since my first magical moments with ChatGPT back in 2022, I saw the potential of the “Gen AI wave” and wanted to be a part of this new paradigm in human-computer interaction. Having been running a small business, seeing the “Project Manhattan” of our times rapidly unfold in front of my eyes has been an immense source of inspiration but also fear of missing out. As is known in the Gen AI circles, some weeks unleash years of new methodologies, algorithms and nowadays Silicon device launches. So I could not wait to get on board.

I greatly values independence and entrepreneurship. Having been leading an independent software innovations company serving other small and independent clients, I found myself at a crossroads. How could we stay true to our entrepreneurial roots while also contributing to this groundbreaking movement? Determined to cross this chasm, this past summer we as a team embarked on a mission to upgrade our skills and invest in the field. This wasn't just a pivot; it was a full-scale transformation. Days, nights, weekends—time became a blur as we poured our energy into learning and building (It’s been a busy summer).

Contributions to Open Source - a Multi-Modal Agentic System
To support our client, 8090, we helped develop a multi-modal, agentic framework called xRx. xRx uses the latest and the greatest innovations in agentic AI methodology, super fast Inference and old-fashioned software engineering discipline to build fully autonomous agents for customer support, patient intake, and many other use-cases. Helping Launch an Inference Solution - The Fastest Inference Engine
We helped launch a cutting-edge AI Inference solution. This silicon technology accelerates the deployment of AI models in real-world applications, reducing latency and improving performance across the board! We value this partnership and continue to build products with this great team of hardware, ML and software engineers.

Innovating in the Automotive Industry with AI-Driven Quote Management
Perhaps one of the most unique achievements for us was the development and launch of a quote-automation system for the automotive industry. By combining AI with traditional deterministic technologies in CAD measurements, we have enabled our client to streamline and automate the quote-engineering discipline. For all of my manufacturing friends, you have got to see this solution.

Looking back, the summer of 2024 was not a walk in the park, but it was one of the most satisfying periods of time in our history as a company. It required a commitment to growth and a willingness to take risks and stepping outside of our comfort zone as a team.

And in the end, I can certainly claim that even as a small and independent company, we have certainly joined and contributed to this modern-day "Project Manhattan" on multiple fronts. We will continue to expand our work in this modern era of computing and more great news to share on our work with our amazing team and clients.
